This is what I heard about kids and Christmas and lack of funds. BIG presents come from Mom and Dad. THAT is WHY rich kids get more presents. LITTLE presents come from Santa. That way if you are ever crunched for $$, YOU don't give the BIG presents, but Santa still gives the little presents. He has a lot of kids to deliver presents to, they can't be very big presents to all fit in his sleigh. The kids want to play with the boXxes more than the toys anyways. I can relate to the mom thing. My mom always tells me what I should have done differently. *hugs* I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, you seem like such a nice, caring, and genuinly good person.
