I hope the snappiness stops either way, because I know how wearing that can be on your self-esteem, emotional well-being, intimacy, and all those touchy-feely words. :-) I think it happens more if you're spending TOO much time together and that can be because of the lack of a job. All I can think of is to have a little bit of time where it's just theirs. I don't think there should be regular naptimes either, geez... those are only for babies! :-) And you know it's wrong to try to keep you up late because he's on some bizarre schedule... but you already know that... and I think he knows that, but if he doesn't, the old-fashioned way is to hit them over the head with a pan until they get it, right! LOL No, but you do better than I can... I have trouble letting someone sleep when the kids are awake and they're right THERE! Sometimes I do it if I think they really need it... but I'd just never be able to leave them alone if I thought they could get sleep later... I'd be bugging them every 5 minutes, asking, "Are you getting up yet??" hehehe He should be glad he has YOU and not me!! ;-)

I hope you two work things out. Been there, done that. I don't miss that little *snappiness* thing at all. In my case the bad outweighed the good. I am hoping the good outweighs the bad for the two (4) of you.

Yes, much better to get those things out then to keep them bottled up inside. *hugs*

Your situation sounds, um, very familiar to me. I don't really have any advice for you, except to tell you that I know how you feel. ((hugs))
