You make immoral decisions because you haven't decided who you are. You seem to be leaving your moral core up to chance instead of deciding in advance who you are, what you want, and where you want to be in the future. (For example, what will you be feeling when all of your kids are possibly growing up without you because of the selfish decisions you have made, or will choose to make.) You seem to be basically a good guy. Now you need to decide who is the authentic you. Then you need to live up to who you are. If you make that decision in advance, then nothing and no one will ever tempt you to betray yourself. You know, you only cheated on Lisa the second time because she allowed you the second chance. Don't count on the third. I can tell that she loves you very much, but I think saving her children from the disrespect will give her the strength to leave. Don't let that happen, dude.

Yes, you are a very intelligent person. I knew that by reading your old diary. Gawd, this is so weird because all of my comments about things written in *this* diary have been directed toward Lisa... But my guess is maybe self-sabotage? The friend of a friend above may have some good points, too.

We humans fall prey too easily to temptation. Even Eve ate the stupid apple. It in our nature...and I do believe that attention can be an addiction as well. Good luck to you both. You are an EXTREMELY lucky man that she has chosen to stick by you - you better make sure that you are strong enough to deserve it. May be you should start praying for strength. =)
